Dunja’s academic and research interests began as an undergraduate at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She graduated Summa Cum Laude, earning a B.A. in psychology and a minor in statistics.

Dunja is funded through the University of Florida CLAS Alumni Fellowship. Dunja will be traveling to Vancouver with her advisor, Dr. Lise Abrams in November to present her work at the 44th Annual Meeting of the Psychonomic Society.

Currently, Dunja’s work includes: (1) Investigating which factors influence retrieval of correct spellings from long-term memory in young and older adults, (2) beginning a Master’s project on whether recency or frequency is more powerful in determining new connection formation and whether older adults are affected differently than younger adults by recency and frequency.
