with highest honors in Linguistics
and a minor in Business Administration, 1998.
Research Interests
Alissa’s research
interests currently focus on memory-related possible selves and aging;
she is also currently receiving funding to assist on a project
examining the relationship between goal setting, feedback, anxiety, and
subsequent memory performance as part of Dr. West’s McKnight research
grant.
Student Profile
Alissa entered the PhD
program in Developmental Psychology in August of
2001. She expects to receive her PhD in 2005 after completing course
requirements
for doctoral studies including a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology.
She plans
to pursue a faculty position or postdoctoral research position in a
major
research institution upon completion of her studies.
