Research Interests

Kristina is interested in cognitive aging, the mechanism of estrogen’s neuroprotective effects, and molecular changes effecting memory across life span. Kristina’s primary research interests involve transcriptional changes that occur within the aging hippocampus and estrogen’s ability to ameliorate those transcriptional changes.
