Current research includes collaboration with Michael Marsiske, Ph.D. on intraindividual variability in cognitive functioning in cognitively intact and mildly demented older adults.

Student Profile

Karin McCoy entered the Ph.D. program in Clinical and Health Psychology in the Fall of 1997. She completed her Master of Science degree in May 1999, with a thesis on the short term and long term effects of left frontal repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation on depressed mood and cognition, and has completed her Ph.D., with a focus on geriatric neuropsychology and cognitive aging (intraindividual variability in the cognitive performance of elders with and without mild cognitive impairment). Karin finished her degree in 2004, following a clinical internship.
