
Research Proposal Support
The Age Network aims to encourage successful multidisciplinary
research funding applications, publication of research in top-ranked
journals, and recruitment and retention of excellent junior colleagues
(pre and post-doctoral trainees). Research support is available in the
following areas:
Proposal
and Publication Support
- Development of the sampling plan for new proposals
- Short-term office assistance for center and training grant proposals
- Review of grants and publications through the Reviewer Registry
- Coordination of access to national experts for external peer pre-review
Pilot and Ongoing Data Collection Support
- Human subjects support via the Participant Registry
- Recruitment of special populations (e.g., physically frail, minority samples)
- Funding for pilot research, in pursuit of external funding ( ~ $5000), and
- “Top-up” dollars to complement existing awards (~ $5,000)
